Joan Shao
Strategic Advisor
Joan Shao serves as strategic advisor for the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office and Enrollment Management. Joan supports leaders with informed decision-making, analysis and long term planning. She has held roles at UC Berkeley that include director of administration for Admissions and Enrollment, business manager for Office of the Registrar, and vice chair of the engineering department at University Extension.
