Enrollment Management at the University of California, Berkeley is a comprehensive department that supports undergraduate students from their initial application through to graduation. By integrating the offices of the Center for Educational Partnerships, Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid & Scholarships, and the Registrar, Enrollment Management ensures students have the resources and support they need to navigate their academic journeys. Our department plays a crucial role in shaping each incoming class, supporting student retention, and connecting students with financial resources, academic records, and essential enrollment services. From helping students understand the admissions process to assisting them with course registration and securing financial aid, Enrollment Management is here to empower and support every Golden Bear throughout their time at Berkeley.

Units of Enrollment Management

The UC Berkeley Enrollment Management Department comprises several key units that work together to support students from early outreach and admission through graduation and alumni community. Each unit provides specialized services to meet the diverse needs of our students and ensure a seamless academic experience. Together, these units are committed to enhancing student success and creating an inclusive campus environment.

Office of Undergraduate Admissions

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is responsible for managing the campus-wide undergraduate admissions activities. The department seeks to recruit, admit, and enroll a student body that, beyond meeting the university's eligibility requirements, demonstrates high academic achievement and exceptional personal achievement while encompassing the broad diversity of cultural, racial, geographic, and socioeconomic backgrounds characteristic of California, the nation, and the world. Learn more at the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

Office of the Registrar

The Office of the Registrar helps students navigate their Berkeley journey. They provide support services for registration, transferring credits, transcripts, residency requirements, veterans benefits, and much more. Center for Educational Partnerships

The Center for Educational Partnerships (CEP) provides outreach and engagement with K-14 students, families, and educators to increase access to higher education. The ten CEP programs provide direct service to students and families, professional development for educators and community partners, and engage with K-12 schools/districts, community colleges, and other higher education partners in systemic work to remove barriers to college access for students. Financial Aid & Scholarships Office

The Financial Aid & Scholarships Office provides comprehensive financial resources and holistic support to students so they can focus on receiving a transformational educational experience. The goal is to operationalize care at scale for students while continually improving affordability, efficiency, and timeliness when delivering student aid in accordance with federal, state, university, and donor regulations. Cal Student Central

Cal Student Central (CSC) serves as representatives of the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office, the Office of the Registrar, Accounts Payable, and Billing and Payment Services by providing direct support to students and families on financial aid, enrollment, billing, and payment related questions. CSC is dedicated to providing efficient, student-centered, and quality service by supporting student success with a service-oriented, cross-trained, and solution-seeking professional staff. Learn more at Cal Student Central. This office reports directly to the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office.
